Description
Yogev Cabernet Sauvignon-Merlot is a dry red wine made of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes harvested from our vineyards in the Golan Heights and the Lachish region.
Yogev Cabernet Sauvignon-Merlot is made for drinking now, with mild herb and red and black fruit on the nose. The palate encounters a well-balanced, rich wine with medium body, and notes of blackberry, plum and chassis are supported by oak, giving the wine a soft silky palate. With proper storage conditions, the wine can age well for up to four or five years, but is best when enjoyed young.
This well-balanced wine can superbly accompany grilled meats and classics such as potatoes au gratin with mushrooms and four cheese gnocchi, as well as semi-hard cheeses made from cow’s milk.
