Description
Since 1870 the Teperberg family has been making wines in Israel, first within the walls of Jerusalem and then creating vineyards in the Judean Hills. Now in the hands of the fifth generation of Teperberg wine makers, the history and tradition is apparent in the quality of the wines.
This wine is fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel vessels for seven days before undergoing malolactic fermentation. The wine is then aged for six months in French oak barrels. The resulting wine has good dark plum and black current fruit with a good level of tannins and balanced acidity. Equally good on its own or with food, it goes particularly well with roast meats like beef and lamb.
