Amarolo, from the Alexander the Great series, has won many awards and short successes and appreciation in Israel and around the world.

In a tasting of Israeli wines published on the website of Robert Parker – the world’s most respected wine critic, Alexander Winery’s Emerolo 2011 received the highest score ever given to an Israeli wine – 94 points.

Amarolo from the Alexander the Great series is inspired by the Italian Amrona and is a special blend consisting of 5 varieties of different grapes that are grown in the Ben Zimra vineyard.

This is a powerful wine concentrated in aromas and flavors of fruit due to which it will be praised over the years.

The wine is aged for 40 months in new and old oak barrels.

Recommended serving temperature 16-18 degrees.
