Description
The 2018 Gamla Sangiovese features raspberry and cherry notes, complemented by potpourri, earth, leather and tangerine. This attractive medium-bodied Sangiovese displays a bit of structure and nice varietal character.
Though appealing to drink now, the 2018 Gamla Sangiovese should improve in the bottle for a few years, and will age well for some six to eight years from harvest.
The 2018 Gamla Sangiovese was produced entirely from Sangiovese fruit grown in vineyards situated on the northern Golan Heights. The wine aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
