Merlot from the Alexander Reserve series is a red wine based on the purity of merlot grapes, the vines are grown in selected plots of Kerem Ben Zimra in the Upper Galilee, at an altitude of 870 meters above sea level.
Low grape yield, the best growing conditions in the country and advanced agrotechnology give the grapes quality and uniqueness. The grapes were harvested at dawn, the fruit was carefully sorted, and the selected clusters were sent for crushing and controlled alcoholic fermentation.
The color of the wine is deep dark red with shades of pomegranate and ripe cherry. The aroma is rich and typical of the merlot variety with a prominent shade of oak. The taste of the wine is full, soft and there are flavors of ripe berries and delicate vanilla.
The wine is long and balanced with general harmony. An elegant and ready-to-serve wine, with the ability to age.
The wine stayed for 24 months in 60% American 40% French oak barrels.
Recommended serving temperature 16-18 degrees.
