The grapes for the Merlot Special Reserve come from the winery’s vineyards in the Upper Galilee and the Jerusalem Hills which are characterized by terra rossa soil, a cold climate and dry air. This fine wine, which has been aged in oak barrels for 18 months, is elegant and velvety, and will continue to improve under proper ageing conditions.
